For the ribbon, we have some beautiful green velvet we didn’t use on the invitations that Caroline was happy to share! The ribbon band with attached place card would slide off and then the card can be flipped to show the menu.
For the elevator sign, we can either print this on foam core or the frosted acrylic if you prefer. The acrylic does increase the cost and I would want to tweak the colors so they are dark enough to be read!

From Patrice:
Cups – I like this design. Is the green color consistent with the color of the RD/WP invitations? Should we add the date under the names? 2-21-2025. 400 is probably a good number to order. Alternatively, should we use the Crescent Club’s glassware for drinks, and put this design on the napkins?
Sign – I like this design and wording also. Same question about the green. Can we make it a little larger, maybe 24×24? It is going to be downstairs in the lobby by the elevators, so it may need to be a little bigger. Also, I am sending a picture via email of a sign that I liked overall. I think it is frosted acrylic. I also like the idea of attaching flowers to the top. Perhaps Jackson Durham could help with that?
Napkins – For the white napkin, do you like “Tomorrow we do” (sent a picture in an email)? But in green, angled on napkin, with “Caroline & Oke” or “C+O” below. Not sure what I think about the tan napkin. Another option is to use the design from the cups on the napkins as mentioned above.
Welcome note – I would like each name directly on the card instead of on the small crescent placecard. I’m imagining the placesetting with the Versace Medusa charger and ivory linen napkin. Maybe the card should be green like the RD invitation with a beige velvet ribbon to match the table covers. I am also thinking of adding a little favor with after-dinner mints to each placesetting; could be tied with a beige ribbon. If we make the card green, I would change the glassware from Jackson Durham from green to clear; I don’t think the greens would go well together.
You ladies are model portal users! For the welcome card/menu, I sadly don’t think we have time for the deckled edges on the card, that adds 7-10 business days to production as it has to go to an out of state vendor.
If we do the debossed white printing on the welcome card, combined with letterpress on the back, the card will be quite thick, are you ok with that? I’m attaching an updated proof.
Alyssa –
Thank you for the updated design!
I understand about the time needed for the deckled edge; no problem. Can we then go back to the green edge on the white name card as shown on Round 2? Will the white name card be of the same thickness paper as the invitations?
It sounds like the Welcome card/menu would be twice as thick as the invitation; that is fine with me.
How do you attach the name card to the ribbon?
Thank you again.
Patrice
Alyssa –
Thank you for Round 2 ideas. I love the revised RD menu card, but think we should stay with white instead of cream for the lettering and back, to be consistent with the invitation. I was hoping to receive my invitation today to see it ‘in person’, but fingers crossed it will be here tomorrow. For the sign — 24″x24″ white acrylic with moss green lettering and some floral at top — correct?
Thanks!
Patrice
We met with Jackson Durham yesterday and came up with this plan:
Welcome note:
Green card (same as RD/WP invitation)
White letterpress printing as on invitation
Wording same as on Round 2 sample
Name card white paper; if possible using the paper sample that you provided for me Tuesday, Alyssa, with the ‘rough’ edges, but in white. No green border on name card.
Names printed in green letterpress
Ribbon – Caroline has samples; we liked one step darker than the ‘blonde’, I think it was called ‘earth’. Caroline can confirm that.
Back of card in white with menu in green letterpress.
Size – should fit inside the decorative rim of the charger plate; we measured yesterday that the white center of the plate is 8″ in diameter. So the 6.5″ square as proposed would be good.
Sign – 24″ square white acrylic with moss green lettering. We talked to Jackson Durham and they will add greenery at the top. This may already be ordered.
Let me know if I have missed anything. Thank you!
Patrice
Loving all of this, ladies!
The ribbon color is Earth, 597.
For the name cards, we’re drawn to the hand-deckled paper from the McCarty sample.
We’d also like the names done in green calligraphy rather than letterpress.
Alyssa,
For reference, Patrice has chosen the Versace Medusa chargers for the plate setting:

Caroline reminded me —
The names on the small white square will be green calligraphy like the RD invitation envelopes.
I just thought of this — I will send a list of the names for the name cards this evening.
Thanks!
