Simple shape with more intricate border & edge paint detail. I would keep the edge paint a bit more saturated than blush — if it’s too light, you won’t see it.

  1. Reviewed these with Caroline. Love the script and the front of the cards. LOVE THE COLOR!! The 3rd option is more of the direction we’d like to move in general.

    Can we see a few options of the 2 foxes together (from the 2nd option) – we prefer that over the single fox on the back and may be incorporate it on the card? Would love to see different options.

    For the back: I think we’d like to see a little more fun and interesting on the back. I know this is just stock photos put in as place holders. In reality, would the botanical peach look more painted? Could we make it a little more playful? May be include a pattern as a backdrop?

    Liner: Can we see more options? May be bringing in more from the botanical fabric she showed us? It is called Renaissance Herbier IKSEL. Is there a way to playfully pull that into the liner but may be add some color too? Like may be alternating a thinner stripe of color and then a stripe of botanical but creating the botanical stripes with some origninality that can be used later at the reception? Just throwing ideas out! She isn’t bound to the botanical idea if it isn’t working and you think a different direction is better. I think she loves the bolder liners that are full of personality and interest.

    Caroline is going to mull over it some more. She’s in California at a wedding and I asked her to pull some fabrics for inspo.

  2. After talking through it again, I think we may want something else for the Save the Dates – going in a non botanical route. Caroline is going to pull some fabrics for inspiration. We may want to just utilize the botanical feeling or the walls going into the tent or something. I think we want something a little more with a wow factor for the Save the Dates. Will be in touch!
